FDA Approved!

The FDA has approved the StomaphyX device for those who have had gastric bypass (GBP) surgery, but are again gaining weight. Many people in this situation are faced with the dangerous dilemma of gaining the weight back that they lost, or undergoing another GBP (which some have estimated at a 1 in 200 mortality rate). Now, a non-invasive procedure places a band on the inside of the stomach, re-shrinking the stomach, using blue plastic staples. This procedure is estimated to have only a 1 in 10,000 mortality rate! This is great news! I will keep the information current on this site. Check back for updates; rumor has it that soon the procedure will be available even for those who have never had GBP surgery.
